Understanding intelligence in law enforcement

This module will introduce students to intelligence and how it relates to law enforcement. Students will learn the difference between Information and Intelligence and that intelligence is not a new concept and has been used throughout history.

The use of intelligence in law enforcement

This module covers the application of Intelligence and its important role in law enforcement. The module covers the levels of Intelligence and ow Intelligence is used in investigations. It will cover the consumers of Intelligence and the importance and purpose of Intelligence in law enforcement.

The intelligence cycle and law enforcement

This module covers the Intelligence Cycle. The module looks at the different phases and steps that are part of the Intelligence Cycle and will give an overall understanding of how the Intelligence Cycle works in law enforcement.
